Aloe Vera is produced in the stemless evergreen plant, a member of the lily family, and has been used since ancient times to soothe skin irritations treat wounds. Aloe vera helps keep moisture in the skin which helps heal and protect the skin, while the minerals, enzymes, vitamins, proteins and sugars in Aloe help nourish and reverse skin damage. Aloe vera has mild pain relieving and anti-inflammatory effects when it is used topically on the skin. It relieves the pain, redness, and swelling associate with skin damage from burns and sunburn, and some ingredients reduce the premature aging and damage associated with ultraviolet radiation from the sun. There are no major side effects know from using Aloe Vera on the skin, therefore it is a very safe ingredient.  This ingredient is in Aloeviate®and Almocadoe®.
