The goal of Aloeviate TM use is to provide a natural alternative topical cosmetic nutraceutical product that can soothe the skin, decrease the sensitivity of the skin, without the use of a topical pharmaceutical anesthetic agent. Apparently, the integrity and overall skin structure tends to become more resilient and less fragile and sensitive with regular use, most likely due to the antioxidant and natural analgesic properties of some of the ingredients. The goal is to provide and effective stand alone therapy for mild or early cases, or a topical strategy which would allow a reduced dosage of pharmaceutical treatments for vulvodynia/ vulvar pain. In more severe cases which require physician and pharmacist consultation, Aloeviate TM could be used as a compounding base into which other pharmaceutical agents could be mixed.
